About The Position

We are looking for an experienced content marketing writer who will create impactful pieces to educate the market and contribute to our lead generation and nurturing efforts. From blogs to white papers, guides, and case studies, you’ll create strategic assets that drive action. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience (2 minimum) writing marketing content for a tech company, is passionate about HR tech, extremely fast-paced, self-starter, and a team player at heart. If you’ve got the experience, enjoy in-depth writing – but also strive for quick wins, grammar mistakes make you itchy, and you have zero tolerance for anything less than impeccable when it comes to execution – we can do amazing things together.

Responsibilities


Actively ideate, plan, and write (A LOT. This is mainly what you’ll do) content pieces like blog posts, guides, white papers, case studies, e-books, and infographics to drive maximum conversion across all stages of the buyer lifecycle, and contribute to Gl

Ensure relevant content is shared across strategic channels in a timely manner.

Conduct in-depth research in relevant industry fields to maintain spectacular standards across your content and educate others.

Manage a tight editorial calendar.

Work closely with our in-house marketing designer to make all content and social presence shine.

Maintain and expand Gloat’s presence across social media including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. Share news and valuable content (produced mostly by yourself), interact with other key players and keep Gloat at the front of the industry.

Stay on top of the latest HR tech news, trends, and research. You’re expected to be a source for knowledge in the company and position Gloat as the leader in the field, and educate fellow employees.

Stay on top of SEO trends to ensure maximum traffic and increase organic growth, and measure your success on a regular basis.

Contribute to occasional marketing emails, website copy, and product copy, ensuring they follow Gloat’s brand and voice.

Sync and brainstorm regularly with other marketing, sales, and data professionals to guarantee Gloat’s content drives success and caters for current business needs.

Requirements

A killer writing sample from your previous works in the tech industry

2 year of experience minimum in an editorial/content-focused role

Proven experience writing marketing content in a tech company

Superb accountability and self-management skills

Impeccable organizing skills (you smile when you look at your gantt chart)

Full independence at work (ability to lead projects from A to Z)

Fast pace and hunger for results

Attention to detail (you just captured this mistake and it made your eye twitch)
