We’re looking for an experienced events and field marketer to own events and high-touch marketing initiatives at Gloat. In this role, you will work across marketing and sales teams to create our global field marketing strategy and execute against the plan to drive meaningful pipeline for the business. 

Our ideal candidate is passionate about taking a creative approach to strategic marketing that will drive lead generation, nurture existing prospects, and engage current customers throughout the entire funnel.

They are not afraid to think big, and drive unique programs for the organization, but also roll up their sleeves to get the work done. They can flawlessly devise and manage an in-person event, manage acceleration campaigns, and thrive in partnering with the sales organization to share best practices, learnings and areas of shared success on a regular basis.

This will be a high-visibility, high-impact role that works across the global marketing team (Demand, Brand, and Product Marketing) and Sales Leadership globally across North America, APAC, and EMEA, and with direct visibility to Gloat’s broader leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Events and Field Marketing Strategy – work collaboratively across marketing and sales leadership to establish the strategy of our Field Marketing efforts in each region, including goals alignment, channels, and tactics that will drive the agreed upon pipeline and revenue goals
  • Own the Field Marketing Calendar – establish the events and field marketing calendar globally of all priority activities across digital and live engagements, including sponsored (industry conferences, trade shows) and owned events (webinars, our own digital conference)
  • Execute Events Flawlessly – manage event execution across both digital and live activations, including management of technology, vendors, and on-site activation for live events
  • Drive Demand and Pipeline – drive meaningful opportunity creation and pipeline acceleration with each event / activation in close collaboration with the sales team
  • Build Customer Love – engage directly with our customers to bring them into events and amplify their voices on the work they are doing with Talent Marketplaces and Gloat specifically


Requirements

  • 4+ years of events or field marketing experience in B2B technology sector, ideally SaaS
  • Experience with large enterprise buyers (10K+ employees), ideally in HR and Talent 
  • Experience crafting, implementing, and leading events and field marketing initiatives in support of B2B demand generation and pipeline creation
  • Deep experience organizing and executing both digital and in-person events (including Trade Shows and Conferences, Webinars, Executive Roundtables, etc)
  • Experience with digital event platforms and history of flawless execution of digital webinars, conferences, roundtables, etc
  • Comfort with a start-up environment that requires agility and the ability to adapt and evolve as needs arise
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to present and sell your ideas, create coalition, and build support
  • Ability to run multiple projects, identify risks and opportunities along with outstanding skills to consistently set and meet deadlines, prioritize or re-prioritize, and efficiently engage resources
  • Management experience leading both internal resources and external vendors in the execution of events
  • Travel for on-site and live events globally as restrictions open up
